I wasted an afternoon!
I received a shitty again from a student hourly this afternoon. What a surprise! I miss very much kids in LSS... they are much more responsible and considerable. Well, this is a challenge, I told myself... a challenge that I would take since I decided to come back to Shu-Te first. A great challenge for an educator to assist students from different background and in various level.
I was a little mad so I wrote a letter to the chairperson. Interestingly, I got an email from that student 4 hours later. She completed the first draft of the work that I asked her to do!

請系辦公室主管幫忙
@@自上學期始擔任系網規劃事宜,系上所分配之工讀生雖然表面微笑打招呼, 但做事推三阻四,一事無成。說詞林林總總:“我在幫其他老師做事”,“我要到系辦支援”, “我最近功課很忙”…..等。
今日,@@因上星期交待的事項一直無回應,至輸出中心詢問。得到的又是同樣的藉詞:“我在幫其他老師做事”。我問她是否可以這星期完成,接下來的回答是:“我最近功課比較忙”… 於是,我說,“如果你無法幫忙,我要和主任反應,需找其他工讀生幫忙,否則事情一拖再拖,無法成事。” 工讀生回答:“能做出來就做出來,做不出來也沒辦法囉~”
自系網重新建構以來,要得到工讀生的協助可謂困難重重! 幸有另一學生在沒有工讀金回饋之下而挺身幫忙,以及@@利用週末時間製作,才有些進展。
如果系網重新建構之工作當初是分配予某位工讀生的必要工作,@@對此怠忽職守的情況,實在不敢茍同。若要給予幫忙的同學獎助金,也應該由應負責的工讀生處轉讓,否則有失公義! 除非,@@一開始就會錯意,誤以為這位工讀生的工作是幫忙系網重新建構;如是,便需專款專人協助這項本應屬於系辦公室的工作。
@@在此自覺能力不足,工讀生對所分配的工作一再推諉,希望能請系辦公室主管或有力之老師親自指揮。
