Multicultural Campus Forum

The Multicultural Campus Forum held at Union Theater, UW-Madison, is about creating a friendly community and quality learning environment in the UW-Madison campus. Besides the experiences sharing, problem awareness, and cultural diversity recognition, Chancellor, John Wiley, and deans addressed how important diversity is for creating and maintaining the
excellence of the university. Without the awareness and improvement of the problem, the minority (including people in color, gay and lesbian, people have different beliefs and religions, etc.) in the campus (including students, faculty, staff, and who in any position) don't feel themselves are welcome, and the university is losing the best of the best.

The price of the bread

Answering the experiences from the KC tour-- (thank you for asking!)
The KC tour has been fun. I won the tennis game and also earned a friend. Although we lost the softball tournament, it was a great effort that every team member put in. We demonstrated a very respectful sportsmanship.

About the two loaves of bread, the point is not how much the bread is; rather, what we need to pay attention is the manner and the honesty a person owns. First, when that person unconsciously took the object in the dark, he supposed to find it when he got home or the next day, but he keep silent. It is not honest. Second, I emailed out to ask the members who traveled together, that person totally ignored the email and pretended nothing has been happened. It is impolite. Third, once the unconscious was forgiven, and the mind turned to be conscious, the action of having the bread and at the same time keeping his silence becomes a steal.

It was an unpleasing experience, but, on the other hand, to know one aspect of a person with two loaves of bread, it is cheap.

No worry, folks. Assimilating the positive and negative aspects of people’s attitudes and actions, I am continuously seeking a pure and beautiful mind.

LSS 50th Anniversary

Our (LSS) ice cream open house party for 50th anniversary on Friday, September 23 is coming. We are excited to have lots of ice cream and to see many friends come to join us. Read just announced the sneak preview report on Wisconsin web news, and the Wisconsin Week article will due out next week, “hopefully with picture,” he said.
