The Station Agent (2003)
The Station Agent (2003) is a fun and observant film which describes the friendships coming together between three isolated people—Fin McBride (Peter Dinklage), Olivia (Patricia Clarkson), and Joe (Bobby Cannavale).
Fin, a short guy (dwarf is what/why many people make fun of him), is a loner who has a passion of trains. He inherits an abandoned train station in Newfoundland, NJ, a middle of nowhere, from his friend Henry. Although all he wants to do is to be alone, the incredible friendship is soon built between him and an artist (Olivia) with distractions and troubles and a friendly Cuban (Joe) with an insatiable hunger for conversation.
